Your Safari Summary:

Day 1: Pick up and enjoy a scenic transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and later afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Encounter in Kyambura Gorge and departure to Entebbe

  • Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Upon an early arrival, you will be received by a Rada Safaris assigned driver/guide who will welcome you to Uganda – the Pearl of Africa. Thereafter, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The highlights of this park include: the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park where you will have the chance of viewing lions, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. Then surely you will be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and the Nile crocodiles here. Will have an hour stop in Mbarara in order to enjoy your lunch. Continue to the park and check in to your accommodation to relax for the Evening.

    Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.

  • Day 2: Game drive (AM) and afternoon boat trip on the Kaiznga Channel

    Have your breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park and look out for: lions, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. For any birder, there are quite a number of birds to sight too during the drive. Return to the accommodation for some rest time and lunch. After lunch in Queen Elizabeth, you will go for a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water shores. You will have dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

  • Day 3: Chimpanzee Encounter in Kyambura Gorge and departure to Entebbe

    After breakfast you go for serious primate this morning to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Kyambura Gorge Central Forest Reserve is an incredible place is teeming with life - over 6 primate species, hundreds of bird varieties, 414 tree species and a dazzling array of butterflies. Enjoy the walk through the forest and the fascinating meeting with the chimpanzees. Depart from Queen Elizabeth NP and head on to Entebbe for your flight. Along the way pass by the Uganda Equator for a memorable photo moment and also a very educative session with experiments performed at the line that separates the earth into northern and southern Hemisphere. You get the unique opportunity to enjoy both Hemispheres at this site. Continue to Kampala with en-route lunch and other sightings. Do not forget to purchase a souvenir for yourself as a remembrance for this wonderful trip.
